Kaplan is nothing like the real deal. So detailed into the minutiae of things and ways that the AAMC will never test on. I took the exam on 8/5 and was blown away by how "easy" the real thing was especially compared to Kaplan.

Aamc Salary Report, Scored 9 points lower than my AAMC average on my real 6/26 exam. What ... I was wondering which AAMC FL (1/2/3) did you guys find the hardest? I was thinking of doing the hardest one the day before my actual test. Your AAMC FL average was 508, so 507 is about right on the real thing.
Aamc Salary Report, Your score will be +/- 2 points from your average. Oh yea, I know. What I mean when I say I'm surprised is that the real exam felt just like my FL 1 and FL 4 practice tests. I felt pretty good about it actually so I was expecting a 510-512. The Header panel provides information about the applicant, such as AAMC ID, phone number, email address, date the application was received, the most recent medical school and the most recent residency. I've been studying for the MCAT in May and I'm about to start taking AAMC practice tests.
Up to this point, however, I've been doing review with EK, Khan academy, and the AAMC practice materials. I've found that the Khan academy chapter questions are challenging, while the AAMC question packs... AAMC is the only good resource for CARS unfortunately. Don’t waste your time answering too many questions from 3rd party resources, but you can definitely read passages from elsewhere for practice.
