I purchased Turbo Tax software and paid for it. Turbo Tax has scammed anyone getting an automatic refund deposit by partnering with SBTPG. They essentially charged me as much as the product itself.
I DID ALL OF THE TAX PREPARATION MYSELF. The IRS says my refund is one figure and the actual depos... Thus this SBTPG charges another HIDDEN FEE for processing said amount and depositing said amount. Call it what you will, this is a scam to keep people from their hard earned money that is already taxed to the max.
Sbtpg Says Funded, Disgusting business practice. If there was any disclosure concerning this additonal fee they hid it well. SBTPG comes into play if you chose to pay your TurboTax product fees out of the Federal refund. If so, TurboTax has to use a third-party company and its bank to take out the product fees. Contact the bank to find out what that deposit was for.
